Friday October 5th: Ferrum postponed the cutting of the silhouettes

Ferrum has postponed the cutting and welding of the silhouettes on October 8th!
The cutting of the silhouettes in the mirrored steel was supposed to start on October 4^th, but we do not manage to have all the calculations on time. I had to find an engineer in Berlin. We finally get the information’s about windload in Finland but too late to begin the cutting today!I have yet ordered the 32 bolts, 32 nylon bushing, and the glue.

Ferrum a reporté la découpe des silhouettes pour Lundi 8 !!!

La découpe des silhouettes devait commencer le 4 octobre mais nous n’avons pas eu les calculs à temps, j’ai dû trouver un ingénieur à Berlin pour les calculs et surtout, nous avons fini par obtenir l’information indispensable, la charge du vent en Finlande, mais trop tard pour commencer la découpe aujourd'hui! j'ai cependant commandé aujourd'hui les 32 boulons, les 32 bagues en nylon et la colle...

Next step at Ferrum, Monday morning October 8th:
1) Finalizing the drawings for the binding
2) Polishing of the stainless steel
3) Cutting of the corten steel and the polish stainless steel
4) welding of silhouettes
5) Assembling the polish stainless steel on the Corten steel
6) Brushing the side of the Corten steel which will  take (in 3 or 6 months) its beautiful red color
And Resolve the questions of the packing and the loading of the silhouettes

Chez Ferrum Lundi matin 8 octobre, ce qui nous attend :
1) Finaliser les dessins pour la fixation
2) polissage de l’acier inoxydable
3) découpe de l’acier corten et de l’acier poli
4) soudure des silhouettes
5) montage de l’acier poli sur l’acier corten (colle, vis…)
6) brosser le côté de l’acier Corten qui doit prendre (dans 3 à 6 mois) sa belle couleur rouge

Et aussi Régler les questions de l’empaquetage et du chargement des silhouettes
